This detailed guide will help you unlock all the capabilities of our AI translator. We’ve created a system that doesn’t just replace words but conveys the meaning and context of your conversations. Click on the section below that interests you to explore its details.

Detailed guide to translation mode
Detailed guide to AI dialogue mode

1. Basics: How to use the main screen

The interface is designed so you can communicate without being distracted by settings. The main screen is divided into two parts:

  • Left button (Your language): Press it to speak a phrase. It will recognise your speech and instantly translate it into your conversation partner’s language.
  • Right button (Conversation partner’s language): Press it and hand the device to the other person. Their speech will be translated into your language.
  • Manual input: At the top of each column, there’s a keyboard icon. Use it for manual text input if a noisy environment interferes with voice input.
  • Playback: After translation, the system can automatically vocalise the text. If auto-playback is disabled, you can press the speaker icon in the message menu.
2. Modes: What’s the difference between Human and AI?

The mode switcher (people or robot icon) is located in the site header.

  • Human Dialogue: This is the primary mode. Here, the AI acts as an invisible intermediary. It focuses on the accuracy of translation between two people.
  • AI Assistant Dialogue: In this mode, the right microphone button is disabled. You communicate directly with the neural network. This is your personal assistant, language tutor, or expert on any topic. The AI remembers your message history, allowing for a coherent conversation.
3. Quality Control: Back Translation and Context

One of the key features of our service is translation transparency.

  • Back Translation: Below each translated phrase, you’ll see grey text in your native language. This shows how the AI interpreted the translation. If the meaning in the back translation is distorted, the main translation is also likely inaccurate, and it’s better to rephrase your thought.
  • Global Context (Scene): In the Prompts section, you can set a 'Scene'. For example: 'I’m at a cardiologist appointment' or 'We’re discussing a house purchase'. This is critically important for the AI to correctly select professional terminology and communication style.
4. Account: General Tab

This page allows you to configure visual convenience:

  • Language Pair: Select your primary and target languages. These settings are saved to your profile and will be available across all your devices.
  • Interface Scale: Allows you to proportionally enlarge buttons and menus. Ideal for using the translator one-handed or on the go.
  • Chat Font Size: Adjusts only the message text. You can make it larger to show translations to your conversation partner from a distance.
5. Account: Billing Tab

We use premium AI technologies (OpenAI, Google), which charge per request. Manage your finances here:

  • Balance: Measured in credits. Credits are deducted for speech recognition, translation, and text-to-speech.
  • Tariff Calculator: The system calculates the cost of a minute of conversation in real time. Choosing a free AI model or the browser’s built-in voice can reduce the cost to zero.
  • Promo Codes: If you have a top-up code, activate it on this tab. Note that your balance has a security upper limit.
6. Account: AI Settings Tab

Here, you choose the 'intelligence' of your app on this page:

  • AI Models: You can select Google Gemini (fast and accurate), OpenAI GPT (deep understanding), or ultra-fast Groq models.
  • Personal Keys: We allow you to connect your own API keys. If you insert your key, credits for AI usage will not be deducted from your balance.
7. Account: Sound Tab

Configure STT (speech-to-text) and TTS (text-to-speech):

  • Speech recognition: Chrome's built-in WebSpeech service is free. Neural services (e.g., OpenAI Whisper) are paid but are significantly more accurate in understanding accents and noise.
  • Speech synthesis: Browser voices sound slightly mechanical. Neural voices (Google, OpenAI) sound like real people, conveying emotions and correct stress patterns.
8. Account: Prompts Tab

Advanced user tool in the prompts editor:

  • Formality: Allows you to instruct the AI to address the interlocutor formally as 'you' or informally as 'you'.
  • System prompt: You can modify the translation instruction itself. For example, add a requirement to 'always duplicate the translation with transliteration'.
9. History, Archive, and Privacy

Manage your data in the Archive tab:

  • Cloud archive: We automatically save your most recent sessions (up to 30). You can close the tab on your phone and open the same conversation on your computer.
  • Deletion protection: The bin button requires confirmation. After the first click, it will turn red and ask you to click again within 3 seconds.
  • Export: There is an export button in the chat menu or footer. You can save the entire conversation to a file or send it via messengers.
10. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is the microphone button greyed out? It’s likely that no language is selected in the settings or your browser doesn’t have permission to use the microphone.

How can I save credits? In the AI settings, select a model marked 'free', and in the sound settings, use WebSpeech.

The AI doesn’t understand me: Try speaking in short, complete phrases. Make sure to specify the 'Scene' in the prompt settings—this improves term accuracy by 50%.
